Breakfast at Tiffany - Part One

Breakfast at Tiffany’s just turned 50 and coincidentally I got to celebrate by attending the grand opening of Tiffany and Company in Richmond, VA. Okay, so it wasn’t actually a celebration of the movie, but the event and the movie went hand in hand. There is not a girl I know who is in love with fashion; that doesn’t look up to Audrey Hepburn, and her ability to pull off that LBD with such class. Her effortlessly chic style in the movie was the beginning of my Tiffany’s obsession. Everyone knows that diamonds are a girl’s best friend. So imagine my uncontainable excitement when I received this:

A little black dress was surely in order, along with a Tiffany’s piece and an updo of course. One might think that an all black ensemble would be an easy task, but this was Breakfast at Tiffany, it was no small feat. After weeks of planning I chose to go with A Kenneth Cole dress, Nine West satin mary janes and a gold Tiffany Key necklace. Simple yet chic.
