Sparkle Pumpkins

This past Sunday I headed out to the pumpkin patch with my sisters in search of the perfect pumpkin to sparkle! We found perfectly plump white ones that turned out fabulous!
It was cold, wet and rainy… typical for the great NW of course. Dressing appropriately and cute was quite the task. Here’s the breakdown on my ensemble:
Men’s Style Shirt: Trouve’
Riding Pants: Joes Jeans
Gold & Acrylic Watch: Toy Watch
Over The Knee Boots: Emu
I love October… Fall weather, Halloween, Scary Movies and Pumpkin EVERYTHING. From coffee to carving, I love pumpkin! And although I love typical Halloween decor, I decided to glam it up a bit this year. What girl doesn’t love sparkle?

The supplies:Mod Podge, Silver Glitter, Foam Brushes and WHITE Pumpkins (Orange ones do not work well).

Clean and dry off the pumpkins to ensure that the sparkles stick! Use either newspaper or a plastic garbage bag to cover your work surface (I cut a large black garbage bag in half to cover the dining room table). Cover the entire surface with Mod Podge using a foam brush.

Once the glue is a tad tacky, pour the glitter (any color works) over the entire pumpkin so that none of the white shows through. Excess sparkles can even be reused!

You can even get creative with stripes!

Multi colored stripes and polka dotted baby pumpkins!
