Day Two: California Dreaming We woke up in the quiet and cold mountains of Oregon and went to sleep in the hustle and bustle and warmth of San Francisco. What a day! The drive into California was breathtaking. We passed wide open fields with a background of snow covered mountains under a bright blue sky. The perfect day for driving. Passing Mt Shasta never gets old, ever! Northern California was the perfect temperature to run around outside with Jackson. We stopped and let him out to run around and per on fire hydrants … typical, I guess? At least it was cute! We got to San Francisco that evening, what a gorgeous city! Walking around in a trench coat in the evening, not needing to bundle up was so refreshing! Dinner at In N Out because…when in Rome! We just had to! We stayed in Fisherman’s Wharf for the night with a gorgeous view of the city lights and water. We had poor planning and tried to go to Alcatraz but it was sold out. Guess I’ll I’ll just have to return!
